A wolf in banker’s clothing

As Fred Foldvary points out one advantage of Wolfowitz’s new job is he won’t be able to start any wars from his perch at the World Bank. However, Foldvary agrees with Charles that Wolrd Bank should be given the shock and awe treatment. Foldvary has some unfounded optimism that Wolfowitz may actually improve things at the World Bank by emphasizing private property and free markets in the developing world, plus he endorses land taxes, but over all the piece is worth reading.
