A Sobering Question

Fred Reed asks a sobering question in his article today: “And how many millions of Iraqis, Pakistanis, Afghans, Cambodians, Viets, Laos, and so on have we killed for nothing?” Read it again and let it sink in. We killed millions for nothing. U.S. soldiers killed millions for nothing. Oh yes, they were ordered to kill by rotten and evil politicians and commanders who were carrying out an evil U.S. foreign policy. But the fact remains that U.S. soldiers killed millions for nothing. Don’t let this madness continue. Young men: Perform a real service by doing any job but soldiering. Selling drugs would be doing more to serve your fellow American than “serving” in the military.
