The funniest comment I’ve heard on ex-FBI official Mark Felt’s ‘Deep Throat’ admission–aside from the reminder that Felt was later found guilty, in a freer America, of engineering government burglaries of the homes of dissidents–came from John Dean. Dean said on NPR that Nixon had believed the FBI was out to overthrow him, and that he turned out to be right.
