A Reflection upon the Gulf War

A poem by Harold Pinter that perfectly captures the triumphalism of American warbots, (he wrote it in August 1991 about the first gulf war, but it fits perhaps even better the late unpleasantness). WARNING: This poem was rejected from the Independent, the Observer, the Guardian, the New York Review of Books and the London Review of Books probably due to its very nasty language. But he is right on target in my view. American Football (A Reflection upon the Gulf War).
