Writes a friend who works at Chrysler: All Chrysler employees received a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) this morning. Basically, the Federally mandated, 60 day notice that layoffs are going to occur. Well 60 days from today is Dec 23, the day before employees are supposed to have a Christmas vacation. The only words I can think of to describe our “leadership”, as they call themselves, would put me in the confessional. They have ice in their veins.
