A Chorus of Pigs

I have long heeded the advice of Robert Heinlein, when he said: “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.”  With this thought in mind, I refrained from commenting on the highly vocal conversation being conducted — in the grocery-store checkout line — by two denizens from the shallow end of the gene pool.  They were ranting about the state of health care in America, and concluded that “we should have government-run health care; just let the government pay for all of this, no questions asked.” I doubt that any synapse … Continue reading A Chorus of Pigs
