“500 Men and Women Sexually Assaulted Each Week . . .

. . . and it’s “getting worse.”  Gang rape and an “epidemic of sexual assaults” are how some current military people describe the culture of the U.S. military (a.k.a. “our heroes” to the neocons) in interviews with USA Today.  Army commanders are said to routinely “look the other way, or worse.” And they appoint themselves as the sole judges.  “In the civilian world, the boss doesn’t get to decide if you’ve been raped,” said one female officer.
