Both political parties have achieved a massive success in the 2016 presidential election. They have, once again, successfully pitted the American people against each other. Neighbor against neighbor. City against rural. They’ll certainly say of a third party candidate in 2020: “Traitor! You’ll siphon off votes from the Democrat candidate and Trump will win again!” And: “Traitor!
