A Spiritual Aspect To Covid That Many Miss

There is a spiritual aspect to Covid missed by so many. The lockdowns, the corona communism, the mandates, have been reduced by many to the biological necessities that they are.

But they are also more.

And if you miss the more, you miss so much else. In fact, you then miss the essence of what is taking place.

A Common Story That Readers Tell Me

A reader recently told me a common story: he had been told by a member of his extended family — his sister — that there will be no more family gatherings for him and his immediate family until he, his wife, and kids get vaccinated.

After many months of that manipulative way of thinking being used to create a schism in the family, that reader’s sister called him and said he and his family were invited for the upcoming family gathering, but with a catch.

“I would like to invite you for a holiday celebration. You don’t have to be vaccinated, but you have to test.”

If you only see this as an issue of biology and an issue of medical preferences, you miss the spiritual aspect of what is taking place in an exchange like that.

If You Stay Stuck On Property Rights, You Miss The Rest & It Is So Important

And if you are stuck on the topic of property rights, and will not move beyond them, you too miss the spiritual aspect of what is taking place. Yes, of course the sister has the right to do what she wants on her property and to make whatever stipulations she wants, but having the right is not enough to make that behavior right.

This detail represents a schism among many libertarians and conservatives who simply say “That is the property owner’s right,” and then drop the matter.

Of course, it is. I am not questioning that. I am not advocating for government intervention against the property owner.

I am, however, advocating for those who see this for what it is, to stand their ground and to do the right thing.

Another group of libertarians and conservatives, satisfied that I do not want to get a government goon squad involved, then says, “Now let’s talk about what is right.” They do not wish government to force anyone to do what is right. They wish society to be able to have a civil discussion on what is right. They wish to be able to have a shared discussion on morals and ethics. In doing so, they wish to unite society and in a healthy and common sense way. A shared discussion on morality is often uniting to those involved, even if there is some disagreement.

Mental Blockades of Libertarians, Conservatives, Christians, and Others

Instead of doing that, many libertarians, conservatives, Christians, and people of all religious and spiritual stripes are refusing to move beyond their mental blockades and to push beyond into what is shared territory on values.

The mental blockades may be political, may be ideological, may be fundamental core values. None of that need be negative. That may all be good. There is no need to suggest otherwise. But when you refuse to take the next step and refuse to cross into the territory of shared morality and ethics, you do a favor for those who wish to divide us.

The question is not, “Does your sister have the right to deny you entry to her property based on a vaccine?”

The question is, “Is it right for your sister to deny you entry to her property based on a vaccine?”

And if it is found to be not right, we are called on to combat that unrighteous behavior in our own lives. You are most certainly not called on to go into full retreat and to cede the benefit of family time to someone so focussed on being so controlling.

You Are Either A Liar Or A Dolt If You Call This Topic Anything Less Than Vital — Which So Many “Freedom Fighters” Do

You might, perhaps, say, “It is a minor matter.” Except it is not. The vaccine, the face mask, the health mandates have become the most vital matter of our day.

Society has been ground to a halt.

Stores are closing. Food is in shorter supply. Why? It is not just inflation, it is not just gas prices, it is not just the Ukraine. The most important issue is the lockdowns that began on or around the Ides of March 2020 and continue to this day.

Churches have closed under the health mandates, some never to reopen.

Businesses have closed under the health mandates, some never to reopen.

Families have schismed under the health mandates, some never to reunite.

How The Elections Were Impacted By American Cowardice Toward Corona Communism

Even if your most important concerns are the reports of election machine servers in Europe or the reports of the bamboo paper of China or whatever Dominion’s sinister role may have been in the clearly stolen November 3, 2020 elections, well I want to point something out to you.

The emergency measures made all that possible.

Only by the most cowardly compliance with the Spring 2020 mandates, put into place from the federal executive and state executive on-down, were the 2020 elections able to be stolen.

The enduring lockdowns were the lynchpin of the stolen elections.

Covid-19 was the actual “big lie,” and if you can’t address that, you will fail to get beyond that. That lie will keep coming back at you.

“Well, How Was I Supposed To Know All This In Spring 2020?” You Ask

And that is just how cowardice works. How were you supposed to know that complying with two weeks to slow the spread in March 2020, would lead to wearing a mask in April 2020, would lead to a stolen election in November 2020, would lead to the umpteenth round of mass deplatforming and mass arrests in January 2021, would lead to massive new health measures in Spring 2021, including a vaccine mandate, followed by a booster mandate, and another booster mandate and another, as well as a continuation of the 18-month rolling shutdown in Autumn 2021, continued economic devastation through the winter of 2021, and massive inflationary price increases in 2022?

Well, there were plenty of people saying that. No one should have to tell you that, though. That’s how cowardice works. We can never be perfect, I am not saying that perfection is needed, but if you let one part of life crumble under the laxity inspired by cowardice, you will lose so much until you address the core issue — your cowardice.

Laziness around one value will bring about laziness around another value. That much you should have not have needed to have told to you on Spring 2020 when the foot-in-the-door technique was used to bring about that initial lockdown and so much more.

Yes, If You Only See This As A Matter Of Property Rights — You Are Guaranteed To Lose

If you only see this as a matter of property rights, if you only see this as a matter of biology, if you only see this as a matter of politics, you miss the most important part. And in missing the most important part, you miss the greatest power you have.

So, Who Is To Blame?

What I am about to say might sting. But what I am about to say is so important to say.

As much as we wish to blame the Anthony Faucis, the Bill Gates, and the Klaus Schwabs, the truth is, some of the greatest enemies of righteousness in your community are likely reading this.

They are the ones who see evil, refuse to call it such, and refuse to stand against it in their own lives.

It is the person that I often call “the sleeping lion,” which is, truthfully, a little too cutesy of an analogy for me to use when talking about the greatest contributor to the ills of this era.

A storyteller named L. Frank Baum did not refer to him as the sleeping lion, but the cowardly lion.

The Common Distractions Cowardly People Like To Bring Up To Redirect Focus From What Matters

Stop blaming Klaus Schwab. He is a distraction.

It is the cowardly conservative you need to be looking at. It is especially the cowardly conservative in you that you need to be looking at.

Stop blaming Bill Gates. He is a distraction.

It is the cowardly libertarian you need to be looking at. It is especially the cowardly libertarian in you that you need to be looking at.

Stop blaming Anthony Fauci. He is a distraction.

It is the cowardly Christian you need to be looking at. It is especially the cowardly Christian in you that you need to be looking at.

When did you wear the face mask? When did you take the shot? When did you show a fake vaccine card? When did you comply with the lockdowns?

“Oh, but I just wore the face mask to get through the door,” you might say.

“Oh, but I just wore the face mask to get to see grandma,” you might say.

“Oh, but I just put the face mask on my child to get him through the school day.”

Oh, you coward.

Do you not even feel shame for your own cowardice? How could you feel shame, and still offer such excuses with a straight face?

When will you recognize that the whole world around you is evil? When will you realize that you might be the last righteous person left in almost every room you enter? When will you realize that if it isn’t you standing firm, then that means no one will stand firm?

Every time you decide to not stand, you are saying, “Well, I guess no one will stand in this situation.”

You are declaring to the world that even the last person who can see this time for what it is, who can see the evil in his midst, and who can take a stand — even that person you announce to the world, even that person will not be taking a stand.

You simply can’t be bothered.

Why It Is So Meaningful For You To Take A Stand

The place where you stand firm is the place where you will set the boundary on righteousness.

So when you say, “Oh, but I just wore the face mask to get through the door,” you are saying this: it is good for everyone to wear the face mask to get through the door. It is good for society to wear the face mask to get through the door.

When you say, “Oh, but I just wore the face mask to get to see grandma,” you are saying this: it is good for everyone to wear the face mask to get to see grandma. It is good for society to wear the face mask to get to see grandma.

When you say, “Oh, but I just put the face mask on my child to get him through the school day,” you are saying this: it is good for everyone to put the face mask on a child to get him through the school day. It is good for society to put the face mask on a child to get him through the school day.

When you say, “Oh, but I just showed my fake vaccine card to visit Hawaii,” you are saying this: it is good for everyone to show the fake vaccine card to visit Hawaii. It is good for society to show the fake vaccine card to visit Hawaii.

That is the impact of your actions.

Why Your Actions Mean More Than The Actions Of Others

The above is not the impact of every individual’s actions, but you are a little different, and you know it, and part of that difference, especially in a time like this, is the unique significance of your actions in the world around you.

You are the moral backstop. No one else. You are the moral backstop.

And instead of being the moral backstop that you are called on to be, you are being a coward.

A coward.

Yes, a coward.

And you know what.

I have amazing news for you.

All of that is in the past. We never have to go back there. You never need to go back there. You never need to behave that way again.

You never need to go back there!

From this moment forward it can be different!

The Blackballed Brother

To return to the original illustration: the brother was blackballed by the sister for not complying with the Covid lie. She connived through the family channels to turn herself into the decider of such matters.

The sister pushed the brother to vaccinate.

He refused.

She kept pushing.

He refused.

She denied him the joy of family time.

That is how little family time was worth to her. She turned it into a possession she would hold hostage until she got her way. She turned it into an issue with which to leverage control over another.

She would sooner suffocate the family, she would sooner destroy family time, than to see it happen on any terms but her own.

Eventually, The Sister Saw She Had Lost

In time, it became clear to her that she had failed to control him. He would participate in no family time that was prerequisited on him being controlled.

She made a last desperate bid for victory. Instead, of standing his ground against such evil behavior, our brother in this example caved.

Why The Otherwise Good Term “Compromise” Must Never Be Used In Proximity To Your Values

Some months later, after a few holidays had passed, the sister “came up with a (so-called) compromise,” is how she would likely put it, to use the twisted parlance of our day.

Compromising in negotiations on a dollar amount for a house in order to arrive at a mutually agreeable outcome is wonderful. Compromise around a deeply held value is unacceptable. The word “compromise,” when used around a deeply held value is a total lie. There is nothing mutual about it. There are no property rights involved. There is no respect of the other involved.

Its definition, in that regard, is: “To wear down another person’s deeply-held values past the point at which that person will give into your will.”

The one use of the term compromise (around financial negotiations) is beautiful. The other use of the word compromise is evil. We must not be fooled into thinking they are the same, just because the world has decided to use the same word.

To mingle the financial and the spiritual in this regard is toxic. The two are separate. The spiritual is not quantifiable.

The Wicked Sister’s Use Of The Word Compromise

The “compromise” that the sister offered was for her to let him be controlled by her incrementally.

She said, “Just take a test, and we can enjoy each other’s company like it was the good old days.”

He knows the narrative is bogus.

He knows the test is bogus.

He knows this is all a lie.

His sister is saying to him, “Agree that my lie is true, and we can be friendly with each other.”

Are you serious?

Really?

What person of any self-worth would possibly agree to such nonsense when you put it that way?

Yet that is exactly what you are doing when you say “Okay, I won’t vaccinate, but I will test,” or “Okay, I won’t vaccinate, but I will mask.”

To say that is to give in to a lie:

“Dear sister, I will call your lie the truth. You win. I will behave like your lie is the truth. You win. I will choose not to lead through this era. I will let you lead. You win. I will hand over the culture to the lies and the liars who speak those lies. You win.”

And The Brother’s Wicked Act Of Compliance

Unfortunately, this particular reader gave in. The swan song of compromising his values won him over. If I had not heard in his voice the tone of regret and submission, I might not present it the way I am presenting it here. If he truly believed the vaccine is a lie, but the PCR test is as true as the Bible, then I might not present it this way.

But that is not what he believed. This was a man who compromised around his values.

Is he a bad man? No. I look forward to lots of wonderful work with him. I think he is, in fact, a very good man.

That detail is irrelevant. Very good men, too, have flaws and make mistakes.

A Person Of Preferences Or A Person Of Values?

You can be a person of preferences or a person of values. A person of values does not “compromise” on their values for any reason. He does not have flexible values. He does not betray his values.

The very inflexibility of a value is what makes it a value and not a preference.

A person of preference has flexibility everywhere he turns. He may use words like value, priority, vital, and need, but the truth is, he just has not heard the right argument yet to betray his own values.

The person of preferences may even deeply believe that those values are actually values. His behavior, however, shows otherwise. His behavior shows what his values really are. His behavior shows, that when presented with options, his values turn to preferences. He will “compromise” on his values, which makes them no values at all.

A Lie Reflex As Powerful As A Vomit Reflex

In case I sound angry or spiteful over this topic, please know that never has any loved one of mine told me to vaccinate or given me the ultimatum to be left out in the cold. I would laugh in their face fractions of a second after hearing such nonsense. The laugh would be uncontrollable. It would be as uncontrollable as my urge to vomit if the most foul thing were shoved in my face.

Vaccine ultimatums around family may not be personal to me; it is all very tragic to me, though. The pettiness of it all and the pain such pettiness causes is very real to me as I hear the most tragic stories from readers. But I have heard so many stories of manipulation, that I see their common threads of control wrapped throughout. It is not about a shot or a mask or a test, on all but the most superficial level.

It is about control.

That is what is really taking place.

That common detail very much makes this a spiritual matter.

If you cannot see beyond property rights, you miss the spiritual aspect of this. If you cannot see beyond biology, you miss the spiritual aspect of this.

So much of life is spent acclimating to the foul things. If you do not regularly find yourself reflexively vomiting out the disgusting, reflexively laughing at the disgusting, reflexively, uncontrollably, “rudely” mocking the disgusting, then you should be asking yourself why you make so much room in your life for the disgusting.

Because make no mistake about it, the world is filled with the disgusting, and the spirit of control seeks to have us become acclimated to that which is disgusting.

Part of your job in life is to recognize and nurture your vomit reflex — both the biological and spiritual vomit reflex. You want to spit out lies forced into your mouth. You want to reflexively rebuke that which is evil. You want to treat deceit as the sickness that it is.

It Is So Much Bigger Than Property Rights

Again, if you cannot see beyond property rights, you miss the spiritual aspect of this. If you cannot see beyond biology, you miss the spiritual aspect of this.

Now Let’s Dig Deeper Into The Spiritual Aspect Of Covid-19 And So Many Other Things In Life

There is a spirit of control, run amok among the people. To use references from a telling Bible story, that spirit of control might also be called a Jezebel spirit.

Jezebel was a queen from the Old Testament who was so taken by a desire to control and tyrannize others. Jezebel was empowered by an equally vile, though less active spirit — the Ahab spirit, the spirit of the submissive male authority figure who refuses to step into his authority.

Ahab was a king from the Old Testament, charged with ruling his kingdom righteously and who did no such thing. He, instead, allowed Queen Jezebel to rule that kingdom, and to do so unrighteously. Where he himself was to lead, instead he followed.

There is then, also, the Elijah spirit. He came as a righteous messenger, to set things right again. He came as a bold, fearless warrior. He came as a truth teller. He came as one who risked having his head cut off that very day, but who kept speaking the truth.

One might observe how these three seem to be in perpetual battle through all periods in history. They are part of spiritual pressures behind human activity that I often speak of and write of.

The Three Archetypes I Often Speak Of, And What They Say About Handling A Moment Like This

Here you have three archetypes that I often write about. The hyena: taken with a spirit of control. These are the Faucis and Gates of the world. As much as they would like to pretend they determine the trajectory of history, or as much as they would like you to believe they determine the trajectory of history, they, in fact, have little impact on the trajectory of history.

The sheep: taken with a spirit of inaction, sometimes lacking discernment of right and wrong, and more often simply unwilling to regard right or wrong. To follow the best leader in all areas of life: physical, emotional, professional, political, spiritual — whatever the area, the goal of the sheep is to go unchallenged by discomfort and to stay focussed on following as comfortably as possible. His own authority in his own life is practically unknown to him. This is the great majority. The majority is often uplifted as almighty in our era. In all periods of time, the majority of society is composed of the most sheep-like people of the day. As much as some would like to pretend the majority determines the trajectory of history, or as much as they would like you to believe the majority determines the trajectory of history, the majority, in fact, has little impact on the trajectory of history.

And then we have the lion. Once asleep, woken up by how much the world around him has decayed. In his action, the woken lion determines the trajectory of history, as does the sleeping lion, in his inaction determine the trajectory of history.

This third group of people is so very influential both through inaction and of course through action as well.

The Jezebel spirit (the hyenas), the Ahab spirit (the sheep), and the Elijah spirit (the lions), inform so much in our lives.

It is not a face mask. It is not a shot. It is not a test. It is not a quarantine.

Yes, of course it is all of those things superficially, but it is so much more.

It is someone seeking to control you. They do so, for little more than a desire to control. That person will find the most unrighteous ways possible to control you. He will unrighteously occupy all the room that you will allow him.

When someone seeks to control you, you have the choice to be controlled, or you have the choice to stand in your authority.

Your job, dear warrior, is to stand.
