Biden To Sign Executive Order Promoting Abortion on Demand

‘President Biden has once again caved to the extreme abortion lobby, determined to put the full weight of the federal government behind promoting abortion … Democrats will stop at nothing to promote their agenda of abortion on demand, up until the moment of birth, paid for by the taxpayers,’ said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

In response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s upending of Roe v. Wade in its June 24 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, the White House announced that President Joe Biden will sign an executive order today “protecting access to reproductive health services.”

The all-hands-on deck order will support abortion on demand until the moment of birth.

In a fact sheet released early Friday morning, the Oval Office said it would direct the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to protect and expand access to “medication abortion” while also ordering the Attorney General and the White House Counsel to “convene private pro bono attorneys, bar associations, and public interest organizations” to provide legal counsel for women seeking abortions and doctors committing abortions.

The White House statement also reiterated that immediately following the Supreme Court decision, the Biden administration promised to fight any “attack by a state or local official who attempts to interfere with women exercising this right.”

Biden’s executive order will establish an “Interagency Task Force,” which “will provide technical assistance to states affording legal protection to out-of-state patients as well as providers who offer legal reproductive health care.”

Biden is ‘focused on expanding the death-care known as abortion’

“A great victory for life was won last month as Roe v Wade was overturned,” noted pro-life activist Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.

“BUT President Biden and liberals in Congress are focused on expanding the death-care known as abortion,” continued King. “We must pray and we must act to save our unborn!”

“Abortion is not a ‘reproductive healthcare service,’” tweeted Ryan Anderson, President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C.
