There has been a great deal of speculation in connection with Elon Musk’s attempt to acquire Twitter. The interest is not surprising, since this is a potentially important story whose significance goes far beyond that of an eccentric billionaire trying to get himself a social network company.
What Musk is apparently trying to do goes to the heart of what is perhaps the most pressing problem of our time: censorship and totalitarianism.

It is a sad and worrisome reflection on our culture that most journalists who nowadays work for the mainstream media are nothing more than hacks whose first order of priority is to censor and silence those who do not share their ideological point of view. Worse yet, their ideology happens to be woke progressive totalitarian leftism.
Most people have absolutely no idea of the level of censorship that is taking place right before their eyes. This censorship is being implemented by the mainstream corporate media and Big Tech in collaboration with western governments.
Elon Musk seems to be aware of the danger this poses. This is what he wrote recently:
“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy.”
Sadly, we have neither free speech nor functioning democracy in the west anymore. It is quite daring of Musk to stir this nest because he stands much to lose. In fact, he can lose everything. The people he will irritate – the Uniparty elites, Big Tech oligarchs, mainstream journalists, government technocrats – are ruthless and they will do their best to destroy him. They will label him with all the politically correct fake slurs: “racist,” “misogynist,” “fascist,” etc. They will try to crash his Tesla stock and deprive him of his government contracts for SpaceX.
I do not particularly care about social media or Twitter. The truth is, however, that social media have become the public square where political views are being widely discussed. As many have noticed, conservatives and people with traditional views are being purged from social media en masse. Twitter is especially significant, because it is a virtue signalling venue for the woke elites and the incubator of their politically correct views and attitudes.
What we get these days from the mainstream media and the internet is a complete distortion of reality. Most of it is just pure fake news. When people Google something they naively assume that they obtain a realistic picture of the situation. This is not the case at all. The results you get from search engine searches are highly manipulated and curated to suit a political agenda. The articles and videos we see on mainstream news sites are utterly biased with opposing views completely expunged from discussion. Most people are completely unaware of this, which is why they are so easily fooled and brainwashed.
Have you wondered what happened to the frenzied push to get everyone vaccinated? It was only a couple of months ago when the media talked about nothing else. Only a short while ago, it was absolutely imperative that every man, woman and child get fully vaccinated and boosted to boot. And then, all of a sudden, the vaccination craziness stopped.
This was a media/government/Big Tech narrative that has collapsed in the face of antagonistic data. They were trying to hide how bad the whole thing was going for more than half a year, but many people were starting to wake up when they saw with their own eyes how the vaccinated and boosted were coming down with Covid and that repeatedly.
The data also shows that after six or seven months temporary protection against serious Covid turns negative and people are more likely to fall seriously ill. In England, for example, the vaccinated account for nearly 90 percent of cases of severe Covid cases and for more than 90 percent of all Covid deaths. The figures are so dire that the UK government has announced it will stop publishing the incriminating data.
We will not hear about this in the mainstream media or on social networks. The journalists and experts who want to publish the truth have been long censored and deplatformed everywhere. One of such people was the Nobel Prize winning virologist Luc Montagnier. Montagnier, who received the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the virus that causes HIV, used to be a celebrity. He then warned about the vaccines and was labelled “a conspiracy” theorist. From this we can clearly see just how biased the mainstream is. When one of the world’s top experts proposes a theory in his field of expertise it cannot be a conspiracy theory. It is a theory that may be wrong, but to label it “conspiracy” is preposterous and shows the merciless censoriousness of the establishment.
It looks Elon Musk has decided to do something about the situation in which systematic censorship and suppression of all views that do not confirm to the “official” narratives is the norm. If he is sincere and serious, he will inevitably draw the regime’s ire. If what he is doing is only for a show, then he has nothing to fear. The establishment will appreciate his efforts, and they will all continue getting richer together. We will see what happens.
