News Item: Richard Perle’s Resignation Richard Perle has stepped down as chairman of the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board. Saddam Hussein must be very greatly pleased that political machinations in Washington have tangled and distracted one of the dictator’s deadliest enemies.
