Being a recent victim of the American public school system, I remember being taught many things about Abraham Lincoln. In fact, one of the earliest memories I have of my indoctrination by the state was being told that George Washington was the first president, Abraham Lincoln the sixteenth, and Ronald Reagan was the current president.
