It was with a sense of wonder that I read English writer Daniel Johnson's piece "Red Army troops raped even Russian women as they freed them from camps." What really knocked me out of my chair was this statement, "The Red Army’s orgy of rape in the dying days of Nazi Germany was conducted on a much greater scale than previously suspected." I can only ask, "than previously suspected by whom"?
