  • May 3. Arlington, VA. The inaugural meeting of the Bob Taft Club, a monthly discussion group for DC Area paleoconservatives and libertarians featuring Carl Horowitz, Dan McCarthy and William Anderson. The meeting will be on Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at the Leadership Institute, 1101 North Highland Street, Arlington, VA 22201. (NB: The Leadership Institute is not sponsoring the event).   • May 7. Uniondale, NY. Tom Woods will be the speaker on Sunday at the Long Island Communion Breakfast of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, Kellenberg Memorial High School, 1400 Glenn Curtiss Blvd., Uniondale, New York.  Mass begins at 9:30am, followed by breakfast and then the program; Tom will probably start speaking around 11:30.   • May 18. Tannersville, PA. Murray Sabrin will speak at 7pm on Thursday at Tannersville Inn, Route 611 on "Inflation and Its Cure:  The Case of the 100% Gold Dollar". Sponsored by the Pocono Libertarians. Directions: Take Route 80 West into PA and get off at exit 299 - TANNERSVILLE. At the end of the ramp, make a right and go to the 2nd light. Make a right.  You are now on 611 South. Just before the 3rd light, make a left into the Tannersville Inn.  Dinner will be at 5:30.

  • May 25. Washington, DC. Laurence Vance will speak Thursday at the request of Congressman Ron Paul to members of the Liberty Caucus on the subject "Christianity and the War". He will speak twice. First at noon for congressional members and then at 2pm for congressional staff members.
  • May 30. Liberty, MO. Laurence Vance will appear on radio station KCXL 1140 AM with the Peter Mac Show on Tuesday from 5:00pm-6:00pm CDT to discuss the Fair Tax, a plan to institute a national sales tax.
