  • March 2-3. Washington, DC. Daniel McCarthy will appear twice at CPAC 2007. At 4pm on Friday, he'll be speaking on "The State of Campus Conservatism," drawing on his TAC article GOP and Man at Yale.  Details of the Friday talk are here. Then at 11am on Saturday, he'll be part of the "Failure of Fusionism?" panel with Reason's Nick Gillespie, the American Conservative Union's Don Devine, and Elephant in the Room author Ryan Sager. His remarks will springboard in part off of his TAC article The Failure of Fusionism. The panel is part of the main CPAC program at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C.  Details of the Saturday panel are here.
  • March 15-17. Auburn, AL. Austrian Scholars Conference 2007. Many  speakers including these LRC columnists: Thomas DiLorenzo, Thomas Woods, Ryan McMaken, Roderick Long, Laurence Vance, William Anderson, David Gordon.   • March 24. Charlottesville, VA. The theme of the ISI Regional Leadership Conference will be "Liberty, Community, and Place in the American Tradition". Among other speakers there will be Bill Kaufman, Jesse Walker and Daniel McCarthy. Register online.
  • March 29. Washington, DC. Tom Woods will be part of a program, open to the public, on Thursday, March 29 at the Cato Institute, looking at What Should be a Culture of Enterprise in an Age of Globalization?
