This is all nonsense. Neither Ron Paul nor the Paulians would back a neocon warmonger and corporate statist like Romney. After all, Ron refused to endorse Bush I, Bush II, Dole, McCain, et al. Indeed, the only Republican presidential candidate he did endorse was Reagan in 1976 against Ford, when the Ronster talked a good game. But Ron opposed the statist Ronnie in office.
