Ron Paul and Peace

Writes Nick Archer:

"Seeing Ron's success with an anti-war message in an era otherwise known for jingoism reminds me of a a line in Nock's 'Peace the Aristocrat.'

Nowhere, speaking broadly, does the common man enlist because he loves war but because he hates peace. The conditions which peace forces make him regard it as something to be broken with at the first attractive opportunity.

"I truly believe Ron's success is in part to actually offering a vision of a truly humane peace, where people are free from the complete binding of the criminal Federal Government."
