Achilles Heel, My Foot

Writes Michael Schersten:

"The refrain on Ron Paul, when they thought to mention him at all this
weekend, was that his great weakness was on display at Thursday's
debate: foreign policy, of course. How much it would hurt him was all
that remained to be seen after his embarrassing exchange with Michelle
Bachmann. And what did we see? Nationally, CNN finds him at 14%, his
highest ever this season, in the three days after the debate, further
cementing his third-place standing, with Gingrich firmly on the down
slope. In New Hampshire, PPP sees him with his first second-place
finish, behind only Romney. And in Iowa, lovely Iowa, he wins, as in
first-place-wins, both polls out since the debate, to put his RCP
average at the top of the field. So, to Ron Paul: keep embarrassing
yourself; it seems like it's working."
