Who Will Replace Ron Paul in His Congressional District?

Will it be Creep 1, Creep, 2, etc.? Who cares? Ron Paul is unique. On all the issues that count, no one else is even in the same universe. Any successor will be just one of the usual, power-mad Golums: a supporter of the War on Terror, the destruction of civil liberties, the corporate state, Keynesianism, redistributionism, and other crimes. I certainly don't care if it is a Republican as versus a Democrat. After all, the corrupt and corrupting process of politics is never our salvation, but rather our doom. As president, Ron Paul will achieve his goals--as he has in the legislature--through moral suasion, not the gun. He will dismantle power, not build it. He will make peace, not war. He is that most astounding of public officials: an anti-political politician. He is unique in that, too, of course. And it is one of the reasons that make even Jefferson or Cleveland or Harding seem tawdry in comparison.
