I'm all for separation of church and state. So is the whole progressive firmament, though for different reasons. But despite their constant yapping, for some reason, the liberals do not seem to care about the most egregious example of non-separation: politicians who--thanks to their denominational beliefs--advocate constant war, subsidies, intervention, etc. for a foreign government that they see as God walking on earth. In pursuit of this doctrine, they want to tax and endanger non-believers. That's Palin, Bachmann, and, of course, Perry, among others. Where are the liberals on this?
