The Ron Paul Brand Is Liberty

Writes the traditionally anti-Ron Houston Chronicle:

Craig Varoga, a political consultant who works out of Houston and D.C., had this to say about Paul: “He knows he’s not going to be president, but he wants to build the national brand, the Ron and Rand brand. His biggest political accomplishment has been the election of his son. He [Ron] runs this year, builds a huge fundraising network and then hands it over to his son, who’ll run for president in 2016.”

Paul laughed when I ran Varoga’s theory by him. “The only brand I know of is the brand to defend liberty,” he said. “It’s what I talk about all the time.”
