The Race To Replace Ron

Is the redrawn 14th district, designed by the Republican party in TX and DC to punish Ron Paul, to be won by a Democrat? I won't cry if it is. Could, say, Nick Lampson be any worse than Kevin Brady, Lamar Smith, Michael McCaul, John Culberson, or Ted Poe? NB: Ron would have won this new district, if not as easily as the current 14th; we'll see how the pretenders do.
