'Texas Conservatives'? Bah, Humbug

Something called the Texas Conservative Digest put me on its mailing list, without asking first (of course). Here is the injunction at the top of each issue:

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands and protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.
