Beltway 'Libertarianism'

Murray Rothbard famously said we can tell a real libertarian, anarchist or minarchist, from other orientations by this test: do you hate the state? In the circle of arrogance, the Beltway, no one hates the state. Indeed, they all see themselves as little planets orbiting the sun of power. "Shine on me, shine on me!" Here is a typical "libertarian" Beltwayite--and Kochite, of course--who wants to get the state even more loot from much higher taxes, and thinks it is outrageous for anyone to point out that the proposed "cuts" are simply promises to cut the rate of increase, and not cuts at all. Indeed, she claims the way to cut the government is to expand it, as Bob Wenzel notes. There is state-loving, Beltway "libertarianism" in a nutshell.
