A very astute law professor remarked today that the oligarchs chose Obama because "first black president" is an ideal cover for the regime. To question the president--that is, the regime he represents--in any fundamental way becomes an act of racism, and so is demonized.
Oh, btw, Obama is obsessed by Trump.
