Yo, Geoff: We Call It “Fascism,” Not “Innovation”

U.S. Travel Association Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Geoff Freeman … yesterday delivered testimony in support of the [TSA’s PreCheck] program before the House Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on Transportation Security.”

PreCheck, you’ll recall, is a system whereby you rat yourself out to the Feds, who then graciously allow you to continue wearing your shoes and coat as they grope and irradiate you at the checkpoints.

At any rate, ole Geoff praised PreCheck as “an innovative public/private partnership … with private-sector companies … quickly help[ing] the agency boost enrollment and utilization rates for PreCheck.” But of course there’s nothing “innovative” about it. Such “partnerships” have plagued humanity ever since Mussolini embraced them and Hitler propelled them to dizzying new heights with slave-labor.
