Yay: Denver’s Siccing Its Cops on Politicians!

Denver’s “dignitaries,” who might more properly be dubbed “indignitaries” given that they are politicians and bureaucrats, will “receive a more robust Denver police response than the public under new rules recently adopted by the city’s 911 system. The policy change … requires Denver police dispatchers to notify a patrol supervisor when ‘Federal, State or Local Dignitaries (such as the Mayor or Governor) or personnel within their office requests or requires a police response on the dignitary’s behalf.”

As even the dimwitted leeches who “adopted” this “policy”  could have predicted and as readers’ comments on the article confirm, the taxpayers footing the bills for such preferential treatment are incensed. Look for some politician with much fanfare to rescind this reg. And that’s too bad: hopefully, the cops will be so busy beating politicians and bureaucrats to a pulp they can’t “respond” to innocent serfs.

Thanks to Bill Martin for the link. Bill notes that with this new policy, the pigs “will know not to beat the [expletive] out of [politicians] upon arrival when they call for ‘help.'” Bill’s such a cynic.
