Words That Can Terrorize the Academic Establishment

A student in my recently-concluded undergraduate  “Political Economy of War” class emailed to say:  “I honestly used to consider myself a socialist, but after hearing what you had to say, the idea of libertarianism seems to be a bit more fitting (I know, they are quite the opposite).  I never looked at big government this way in the past and, for that, I thank you.”

It is rare these days to run across a college student who, during his previous twelve years or so of education, has ever even heard of such notions as limited government, constitutionalism, classical liberalism, market economics, the evils of government bureaucracy, etc.
