Wolves (and Speaking) in Idaho

Several people emailed me when they heard I’d be speaking at Boise State University tomorrow night to tell me that if I was going to be speaking on nullification, I should know about the wolves they were facing.  Honest to goodness, I initially thought they were referring to opponents of nullification.

They meant actual wolves.  Apparently in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, the federal government introduced Canadian wolves that have harmed game herds and livestock in those states, while particularly harming wildlife (elk in particular, as the article indicates), and no one is allowed to do anything about it.
