that with so much faith in the legislative process to make the world a more orderly and productive place, the statists do not propose a more direct approach to mass killings than seeking to abolish gun ownership?  Why do all of these boobs and members of the lobotomized guild of TV babblers not advocate legislation making it a crime to engage in the mass murder of people?  That should take care of the problem, and would fit the statists pet solution for every social problem.  Of course, exemptions would have to be included for members of the police and military classes.
