He’s declared himself dictator, shut down opposition newspapers, censored tv and radio, imprisoned political dissenters, and abolished local democracy by appointing mayors. He’s a modern-day Abe Lincoln, in other words. I guess the neocons at Hillsdale and elsewhere are too busy erecting statues of Dishonest Abe, dumbing themselves down by reading Leo Strauss, and making the case for The Next Big War to notice this glaring contradiction.
