Why are Republicans so upset about the individual mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that the Supreme Court is hearing arguments about this week? Republicans may not believe in the federal government forcing Americans to purchase health insurance for themselves, but they do believe in forcing Americans to pay for the health insurance and/or health care of other Americans via Medicare and Medicaid.
