Why Am I Not Surprised?

Regarding the shooting in Manhattan this morning, which the corporate media has thus far portrayed as a massacre by a lone “gunman” (admittedly, this is a developing story … see why journalists need a template?), “NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly” already admits that “some of those injured in the incident may have been hit by police bullets…” But that’s OK because cops are pure of heart, and “the nine injured are expected to survive.”

Don’t expect Nanny Bloomberg to lament that armed cops stalk among and kill us, nor suggest that the “gun laws” pending in Albany ought to strip them, not their victims, of weapons.
