So asks Pat Buchanan in his latest column.   Here’s the answer.  (Pat notes that, according to the Jerusalem Post, Israelis are opposed to waging war on Syria themselves by a margin of 7 to 1, but two-thirds of them are in favor of Americans spending their blood and treasure on a war that only benefits Israel.  Hey, what are “allies” for?).
