Frustrated as people must be with this Gancarski clown, who cares that some kid, sensing better prospects for himself in the establishment, sold out? If he actually believes the nonsense he’s spouting now then we’re well rid of him. But to switch sides at the precise moment that the folly of the war became most apparent, and when even its architects were scrambling for cover, must raise questions as to motivation.
Someone forgot to tell him that the breast-beating, “thank God I am not as other men” stance is about the most reviled genre in the world, which may explain why his switchover was greeted with so much contempt and laughter from the side he has now joined.
As for siding with leftists, Hillary Clinton (like most liberals) was all for the war on Iraq, and even defended Bush’s intelligence information. Don’t hold your breath waiting for our little side-switching friend to tell you that he’s actually marched into the Hillary/Kerry camp in his sudden support for the war.
