Who Advocates for Those in Chronic Pain?

The untimely death of Siobhan Reynolds has silenced the world’s most foremost spokesperson for those who suffer from chronic pain, and hers was a lonely voice against the legion of spokespersons for the Drug War. To give an example, the Associated Press has a new article about the development of a more powerful opioid to treat people suffering from pain.

Notice that the ONLY people quoted in this article are supporters of the government’s war on drugs, people with pain, and doctors that prescribe these pills. Not one person is interviewed who speaks for those who suffer. Without Siobhan, the voices advocating not only for those in pain but for sanity in the Drug War no longer exist.
