What’s in a Name?

At last, an airport’s name tells us exactly what we may expect from our sojourn in Amerikan aviation’s gulag. Unlike Newark Liberty International (utter blasphemy) or Phoenix Sky Harbor (implying that passengers still experience the glory days of the 1950s and ‘60s), Little Rock, Arkansas warns us that the TSA will gate-rape flyers while intruding into and meddling with their most personal business: the “Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.”

Apparently, the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission rechristened “Little Rock National Airport” for Arkansas’ two most infamous criminals earlier this year. Who knew that bureaucrats and cronies sometimes have a sense of humor?
