What the Election Really Proves

Bush has apparently won as I write this. What this proves is that the forward motion penalty assessed against the Washington Redskins on the play in which they scored the go-ahead touchdown with two minutes left against the Packers last Sunday was indeed bogus. If it weren’t for this act of cheating or gross incompetence by the referees, the Redskins would have won. The did in fact win the game, despite what the “official score” says, and Bush has won the election. The Curse of the Redskin lives: When the ‘Skins win on the Sunday before election day, the incumbent wins as well.

Coach Joe Gibbs should take these facts to the NFL to aid in his protest of the game.
