What Schools Would Teach if They Weren’t Drone Factories

Last week the Mises Institute held an event called “Economics for High School Students.” I think it was one of the best one-day events we’ve ever had.  Bob Murphy gave an overview of why economics is important, Doug French spoke on money and banking, Floy Lilley talked about the economics of recycling, Jeff Tucker spoke on technology and social change, and I (see below) dealt with common myths about the free market (e.g., it leads to child labor, low wages, etc.).
