I love America: one of the readers is Darryl Li, a handsome Harvard law student of Asian descent, reading first in Arabic then in English Darwish’s lovesong to Palestine: “We have on this earth what makes life worth living. The aroma of bread at dawn. A woman’s opinion of men… The invader’s fear of memories…”
