David Boaz of the Cato Institute is quoted as saying that there have been great advancements in the name of liberty, such as in the scaling back of government involvement in airline deregulation* [sic]. As much as I’d love to claim victory for liberty, I frankly have only seen a ramping up in government control of airlines. What am I missing?

*I think this must be a typo by the blogger and assume that Boaz said the government has become less involved in airline regulation.
