I feel sorry for members of other nations, who can only look at mine with envy and longing. How can I not be a patriot when I see our vast technological superiority, our greater beauty, our dedicated service to the people, our purely voluntary means of finance? And now our iTunes division has racked up five billion downloads! It’s enough to make me visit the Tomb of the Unknown Macbook or Mt. Jobsmore with its one presidential face. Look on our works, ye mighty, and despair. But note that the Apple Nation has open borders (for commerce, not for welfare or “voting”), so bring your credit card and come on in. Oh, and while it is a beautiful logo, you do not need to pledge allegiance to it.
