In the War Street Journal today, there is yet another attack on Ron Paul, albeit one with “faint praise.” According to Kimberley A. Strassel, the writer of this hit piece, Paul’s ideas are “kooky.”

Just what are the ideas that have relegated him to Kookdom? First, there is his view that the US Armed Forces should not be stationed all over the globe and, heaven forbid, Ron Paul does not want the armed forces to be invading countries wily-nily.

Second, she refers to his anti-war position as “violent.” Now, that is a hoot. A man talking about peace — real peace — is portrayed as being violent. Just who are the real kooks here?
