VP Lieberman

Lieberman is pro-abortion, pro-gun control, anti-tax cut, and thus would be appear to be unacceptable to the Republican base. However, if the GOP believes they must “move to the center” to retain the White House, they may offer the VP slot to Lieberman. Conservatives will rationalize support for a GOP ticket of George Allen, Bill Frist, or John McCain as President and Lieberman as VP as the price they must pay to stop Hilliary and ensure the next President continues to crusade for democracy.

Another scenario for 2008 is McCain loses the nomination, walks out of the GOP, and joins Lieberman on a third party “unity” ticket.

VP Lieberman

Why not Lieberman as the Republican VP in 2008? That would only be a confirmation of the one-party nature of American politics.
