Of course today’s shooting will be sued to justify more gun control. It will also be used to justify mandatory mental health screening and treatment, including the use of psychotropic drugs, in the name of identifying and “curing” anyone who might have violent tendencies. Of course, this will require the state to keep a complete psychological profile on all of us, but we can trust the government to never abuse that power right?
