It now contains this reply from a Giuliani spokeswoman:
“It is extraordinary and reckless to claim that the United States invited the attacks on September 11th. And to further declare Rudy Giuliani needs to be educated on September 11th when millions of people around the world saw him dealing with these terrorist attacks firsthand is just as absurd.”
Now not even a spokeswoman for Giuliani could be that stupid, so she obviously thinks the best political course to follow is to distort Ron Paul’s position instead of saying something intelligent about it. What a novelty: a bumper-sticker slogan being trotted out in response to an intelligent comment. Who could ever have seen that coming?
