Yesterday, I bought a four-drawer file cabinet, and the young black salesman helped me put it into the SUV. As we finished, he pointed to my bumper sticker and said, “What’s that?”
It was my Ron Paul sticker, or rather my handsome “Don’t blame me, I supported Ron Paul” sticker that Scott Horton sent me. *Is it racist,* I immediately thought, *to wish for anyone but Obama? Will the Beltway “libertarians” charge me with felonious insensitivity?*
“I love Ron Paul,” the guy said, and we had a great discussion about Ron, the Fed, and the economy.
