“I think Mr. Almeida may have misunderstood (or I did a poor job of explaining) my comment about liberals and Ron Paul. I didn’t mean to suggest there aren’t thoughtful liberals who understand Paul’s positions and support him anyway. There are; I know a few. I was merely reacting against Paul’s sudden trendiness on the Left, and pointing out that many of the liberals who claim they love Ron Paul actually abhor his views on liberty and the role of government.
