Trying to Cool The Whole Outdoors?

It’s amazing what you can get away with when tax dollars foot the bill. Passing by the rear entrance of the World Bank this evening on G St., during my ride home (I was riding on the street, and not the sidewalk), I was assaulted by a huge, high-pressure wave of ice-cold air. It was quite refreshing given that summer has finally arrived in the District of Columbia.

It turns out the World Bank is very serious about air conditioning its underground parking garage. And the streets surrounding the Bank too, it seems.
